<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine reduction in heating capacity, before reaching a failure state. <P>SOLUTION: A control device E determines a state of a heat pump type water heater in four ranks of an A rank to a D rank. Here, the B rank and the C rank are determined as a heating capacity-reduced state except for the A rank (a normal state) and the D rank (an abnormal state). Thus, reduction in the heating capacity can be determined as the B and C ranks before reaching the failure state. Particularly when determining the C rank, since the replacement of the heat pump type water heater can be informed to a user, inconvenience when the heat pump type water heater cannot use a water heater for several days by failure, can be eliminated thereby. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
