<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treating unit capable of coping with the variation of treating load without degrading the quality of treated water which is caused by that the change of aeration capacity can not keep up with the increase of the load of a biological treating vessel. <P>SOLUTION: In the waste water treating unit, an aeration means 10 for the biological treatment vessel 5 is controlled by introducing the treated water treated in the biological treatment vessel 5 of previous stage into a measuring vessel 26, computing oxygen consumption rate (Rr) from the overall oxygen transfer capacity coefficient of the measuring vessel 26 and the saturated dissolved oxygen concentration in the treated water and judging the excess or deficiency of the treatment capacity of the biological treatment vessel 14 of post stage from the computed Rr. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
