摘要 <p>Channel estimation method and apparatus in an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) wireless communication system are provided to obtain high performance in comparison with the case of single use of LS(Least-Square) algorithm. A channel estimation method in an OFDM wireless communication system includes the steps of: receiving training sequences from a plurality of predetermined subcarriers respectively; performing primary channel estimation for each of the training sequences by LS algorithm(500); grouping and dividing the plurality of subcarriers into a plurality of sub groups at a predetermined number and obtaining a linear filter coefficient for each of the sub-groups based on a channel estimation value obtained by the primary channel estimation in correspondence to each of the subcarriers; and performing secondary channel estimation corresponding to each of the plurality of subcarriers by performing MMSE (Minimum Mean Square Error) algorithm based on the linear filter coefficient for each of the sub-groups.</p>
