<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular door locking device which has a locking knob arranged in a window shoulder so as to cope with emergency conditions, and is excellent in anti-theft performance. <P>SOLUTION: According to the structure of the vehicular door locking device 10, an inner handle for unlocking a door locking mechanism and the locking knob 16 for inhibiting door lock release of the inner handle, are arranged in the inner panel 4 of a door, and the locking knob 16 is arranged in the window shoulder 4b of the inner panel 4. Then the locking knob 16 is rotatably arranged on an escutcheon 14 fixed to the window shoulder 4b of the inner panel 4, and an operating section 27 of the locking knob 16 is arranged in a knob moving opening section 25 of the escutcheon 14.
