<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize correction processing (registration correction processing or density correction processing) of an image forming condition and discharge processing of developer, or to optimize the discharge processing of the developer. <P>SOLUTION: A state in which adjustment sequence is performed after a deep printing job 1, a light printing job 2 is performed thereafter, and discharge sequence, is performed after the light printing job 2, is shown in Fig. (a). In this case, the necessary printing JOB for the discharge sequence is performed before the adjustment sequence, and then the adjustment sequence and the discharge sequence are performed at the same time, as shown in Fig. (b). As a result, user's print waiting time is shortened. Since the developer discharged by the discharge processing of the developer is used in the correction processing of the image forming condition, consumption of the developer is decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
