PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke singing assist system which effectively provides a performance method of a suitable sound effect, according to the number of users of a karaoke system. SOLUTION: The system comprises: a user ID acquiring means; a group registering means; a song selection registering means; a sound effect information managing means; and a sound effect information control means. The user ID acquiring means acquires a user ID logged in the system. The group registering means registers the user ID for constituting a group, for each group. The song selection registering means registers the user ID to a selected music in a reservation queue. The sound effect information managing means manages a sound output data and a display data of karaoke sound effect for each music in a sound effect management section. During performance of music, when the user ID is not registered in a group registering section, the sound effect information control means outputs a sound output data in the sound effect information managing section at predetermined timing, and when the user ID is registered, it displays the display data managed in the sound effect information managing section at predetermined timing.
