PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve deterioration in driving force which is a weakness of a direct drive method, by transmitting the driving force to a running block fixed to a door hanger to drive a car door, in a direct drive method not using a speed reduction mechanism for driving a door motor so as to reduce the height of the car door device. SOLUTION: One end of a towing body 20 is wound around a drive roller 5 directly driven by a door motor 4. The towing body is wound around the running block 18 connected to the door hanger 12 of a first car door 10, and is fixed to a door frame 3.
