POWDER ADHESIVE APPLICATION METHOD OF POSTCARD FOR CONTACT BONDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical and concrete application method of a powder adhesive for postcards for contact bonding which enables the postcards to be unsealed in a good peeling feeling and the used quantity of the adhesive to be saved. SOLUTION: The powder adhesive is applied in a stripe pattern. The pattern 4 is not practical because good peeling feeling is obtained only when unsealing in a horizontal direction. The pattern 2 or the pattern 3 is suitable for practical use because good peeling feeling can be obtained in an unsealing direction from the upper corner to the inclined downside or from the lower corner to the inclined upside. The pattern 1 and the pattern 5 are most practical application method because good peeling feeling can be obtained in any unsealing direction from the upper corner to the inclined downside or from the lower corner to the inclined upside. The adhesive can be saved because a sufficient adhesion strength can be obtained with an application area ratio of 28% according to the formulation of the adhesive. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
