A system for registering information and providing the information via a data communication network is provided to enable a user to register a tag, automatically classify the information by using the tag, enable others to assess registered information and determine display priority of the information according to the assessment when the information is searched. A system for registering information and providing the information comprises a server(10), a database(20), a data communication network(30) and client terminals(40-1 to 40-n). A user requests the server to register information, including keywords, in other words tags for discriminating types of the registered information, via the client terminals. Then, the server registers the requested information, the keywords and the user information at the database. The server manages recognition degree on the corresponding information according to behavior of other users to the registered information, and specialty of the registered information. If the server receives an information search request from the client terminals, the server offers a search result where the recognition rate and the specialty are reflected.
