<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve light shielding performance against the beam from a lower side of a TFT and switching characteristics of the TFT in a liquid crystal display panel of an active matrix driving system by TFT driving. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel (100b) is provided with a liquid crystal (50) interposed between a pair of first and second substrates (1, 2), pixel electrodes (11) provided in a matrix shape on the first substrate and TFTs (30) performing switching control of the pixel electrodes, wherein a light shielding layer (3b) composed of a high melting point metal is formed between the first substrate and the TFT in a position opposed to the TFT, and a polycrystalline silicon layer (4b) is formed to be superposed on the light shielding layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
