The device has an ejector (2) arranged at a crane vehicle (1) and movable in a horizontal direction. The ejector has a supporting cylinder (3), at its free end, running in a vertical direction. The supporting cylinder is rotatable and insertable in the ejector in the horizontal direction. The cylinder is connected with the ejector by a detachable locking bolt in a vertical operating position. The cylinder exhibits rolls at its upper end, where the rolls are guided to rails arranged in an inner side of the ejector. The rails have a resting recess at its front end.
