PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a wireless communication system and a wireless network connection method" which can automatically connect in the newest network setting even if a user is not conscious of the network connection. SOLUTION: In the wireless communication system with a wireless terminal device (station) 20, an access point (AP) 11, and a memory medium 30, information concerning network setting required for establishment of the wireless communications which is held at a starting time of the station 20 and an AP 11, is registered in the memory medium 30. When setting in the AP 11 is changed, the AP information after the change is registered in the memory medium 30. When the station 20 receives a signal to instruct that connection is not possible in a case of connection to the AP 11, it acquires the AP information after the change from the memory medium 30 making the signal reception as a trigger, performs network setting, and performs connection with the AP 11 based on the setting.
