The brake has a middle brake lining unit (1) which is arranged in a brake disk space between two brake disks that are arranged adjacent to an axial direction. The lining unit has a carrier layer which carries brake linings on respective carrier sides of the brake disks. The carrier layer is formed as a damping layer (7), with which the component oscillations arising during the brake operation is dampened or absorbed. |
