PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow proper music to be selected and additionally recorded without taking user's time and labor during the remaining time of a recording medium. SOLUTION: The recordable amount (remaining time) of a recording medium as a state after recording of music designated by a user (designated recorded information) is determined. Music having a recordable information amount (performance time) with respect to the determined recordable amount but not designated as recorded information is obtained by searching an information source, and sent as additional recorded information to a recorder.
