PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative hinge device having an extremely high commercial value, and an electronic apparatus using the hinge device. SOLUTION: This hinge device is designed that a first member 1 and a second member 2 are opened and rotated from a closed state that they are pivotally mounted and mutually superposed. A cam engagement body 5 engaged with a cam body 4 provided to a first attachment member 3 rotated together with the first member 1 is arranged into a second attachment member 6 rotated together with the second member 2. When the cam body 4 and cam engagement body 5 are engaged with each other, the first member 1 and second member 2 are locked not to be rotated. The cam engagement body 5 is freely slidable and movable into the second attachment member 6 so as to be moved in a disengagement direction with respect to the cam body 4.
