<p>An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display capable of improving the driving speed by using a plurality of drivers and a plurality of transistors as well as a single- panel type liquid crystal panel. Another object of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display capable of implementing high resolution without lowering in aperture ratio, by forming layers of signal control lines connected with a plurality of transistors. The above object of the present invention is accomplished by a liquid crystal display comprising a plurality of pixel electrodes and a plurality of drivers to drive said plurality of pixel electrodes, wherein each of said plurality of pixel electrodes is connected with a plurality of control signal lines through a plurality of switching elements, and control signals are sequentially applied from said plurality of drivers to said plurality of control signal lines.</p>
