A urine sensor used for a urine receiver capable of sucking urine automatically. The urine receiver (102) has a container for sucking urine of a wearer of the urine receiver and also has a urine sensor (118) placed between the container and the skin of the wearer and having a pair of electrodes (218a, 218b). The pair of electrodes (218a, 218b) is covered with an insulative coating (170). In the insulative coating (170), there are formed through-holes (169a, 169b) exposing a small area of each of the electrodes (218a, 218b).
