The present invention relates to an aluminium-coil and copper fitting evaporator construction comprising an aluminium coil to which a copper fitting or terminal is coupled. The main feature of the invention is that the subject construction further comprises, at the connection region of the aluminium coil and copper fitting, a connection made by a welding-brazing operation.
