<p>The method involves computing two models of the elements e.g. coping, and defining a connecting straight line between the models. Edge curves are computed on the models, where the edge curves are defined by the origins of surface normal vectors of the models, which satisfy boundary conditions relative to the connecting line. Offset curves are computed on the models from the edge curves. The edge curves and the offset curves of the models are connected, and a connector is computed on the basis of a path of a connection between the edge curves and the offset curves.</p> |
