<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver alloy sputtering target for forming a reflection film in optical recording media such as optical recording disks (CD-RW (compact disk-rewritable), DVD-RAM (digital versatile disk-random access memory) and DVD-9), and to provide a reflection film which is formed by using the target. <P>SOLUTION: The silver alloy sputtering target consists of a silver alloy having a composition of, by mass, 0.01 to 5% Ge, and further of one or more kinds of metals selected from Co, Fe, Ni, Nd and Ir, and the balance Ag.
