The invention relates to a device and method for peeling raw produce, whereby the produce for peeling is displaced along a straight conveyor (3) and peeled by means of a cutting device (4), of such a form as to be displaceable perpendicular to the direction of transport (15). The produce for peeling is guided along an endless system (10) and serially turned by a given angle and peeled along the longitudinal axis thereof. According to the invention, said device and method permit a qualitatively high-grade peeling result with a high throughput. |
