METHOD FOR GENERATING REPEATED SEQUENCE, AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SIGNAL USING THE SAME

A method for generating a repeated sequence, and a method for transmitting signals using the same are provided to prevent ambiguity of a sequence by maintaining orthogonality between sequences. A basic sequence is selected according to the information to be transferred to a base station. The basic sequence is repeatedly expanded, as a cell size increases. A cyclic prefix of the basic sequence is repeated more than once during the basic sequence expanding process. The basic sequence is repeatedly expanded, as a distance between a user terminal and a base station increases. The cyclic prefix of the basic sequence is repeated more than once during the basic sequence expanding process. The repetition number of the cyclic prefix of the basic sequence is the same as the repetition number of the basic sequence.
