An indicating device for the replacement of a filter in an air conditioner of a vehicle is provided to alert a driver the exchange timing for the filter and notify the driver whether the filter is newly exchanged by installing a switch detecting detachment/attachment operations of a filter cover. An indicating device for the replacement of a filter in an air conditioner of a vehicle comprises a filter(20), which is detachably installed on a filter-insertion hole(11) of a blower unit(10), and a filter cover(21). A switch(30) is in contact with the filter cover and is installed at one side of the filter-insertion hole such that the switch detects whether the filter cover is attached to the filter-cover insertion hole. A control unit uses a detection signal of the switch to output a signal during a specific period of time from an attachment time point of the filter cover to a detachment time point with respect to the blower unit. If the time output from the control unit exceeds a predetermined time, a display unit displays an exchanging timing of the filter.
