A coupling device for an LCD and an LCD including the same are provided to improve coupling force between a lower cover receiving unit and a coupling member through an added screw thread, thereby minimizing inter-abrasion between the lower cover receiving unit and the coupling member. A coupling device for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) comprises a coupling member and a first plate member coupled with each other. The first plate member comprises a support surface, a receiving unit and a chamfer unit(503). The receiving unit is prolonged in a horizontal direction of a plane surface direction of the support surface, and includes a female screw unit within it. The chamfer unit is formed between the support surface and the receiving unit. In the coupling member, a male screw unit coupled with the female screw unit is formed. The length of the chamfer unit is longer than a horizontal length of a plane surface direction of the chamfer unit.
