PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head capable of decreasing the number of execution of cleaning operations and suppressing consumption of a liquid by improving discharging efficiency of air bubbles in a filter room. SOLUTION: The filter room 20 keeping a filter 19, which has a diameter larger than the other part in an ink flow path and filters ink in the ink flow path, arranged in the middle of the ink flow path. In the filter room 20, a liquid repellent region 44 with a static contact angle to the liquid larger than that of the inner wall on the downstream side of the filter 19 is formed near the filter 19 on the inner wall on the upstream side of the filter 19.
