<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling method for a damper clutch of an automatic transmission for improving operability by reducing shock generation on damper clutch control and a system thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In this invention, the controlling method and system for the damper clutch of the automatic transmission includes a step for determining whether the damper clutch is in a direct connection status in a power-on state or a direct connection status in a deceleration (power-off) state, a step for detecting travelling information of a vehicle if the damper clutch is in the direct connection status of the power-on or deceleration state, a step for determining whether a release condition of the damper clutch is satisfied and a step for releasing the damper clutch if the release condition of the damper clutch is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
