PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector wherein locking of male and female connectors by a lock arm is not released even if high pressure wash water is sprayed. SOLUTION: In this connector in which the male and female connectors each housing terminals connected with each other are coupled together, a cantilever lock arm 16 locks a porion to be locked to lock the coupling of the male and female connectors, and locking of the lock arm 16 and the portion to be locked is released by pressing a lock release operating part 18 located at the free end part of the lock arm 16, the lock arm 16 has taper faces 24 on the lock release operating part 18.
