PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for displaying a displacement graph displaying the maximum displacement on each scan line obtained before and after applying stress, or a strain graph displaying the strain obtained from the maximum displacement together with an elastic image. SOLUTION: The method of displaying an elastic image comprises: (a) a step to transmit/receive ultrasound signals to/from an object containing a plurality of tissue along a plurality of scan lines to obtain first ultrasound data; (b) a step to apply predetermined stress on the object to transmit/receive ultrasound signals along the plurality of scan lines to obtain second ultrasound data; (c) a step to calculate displacement of the plurality of tissue using the first ultrasound data and the second ultrasound data; (d) a step to calculate strain of the tissue using the calculated displacement; (e) a step to form an elastic image using the strain to form a graph displaying variation of the tissue by each scan line; and (f) a step to display the elastic image and the graph.
