PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeper for a railroad, which can prevent a sleeper body from undergoing shrinkage and deflection deformation in the molding of the sleeper body, even if the sleeper body is molded from a synthetic resin, and which can ensure the strength of mounting a fastener on the sleeper body, without complicating manufacturing operations. SOLUTION: A plurality of hollow portions 14-19, both the ends 14a-19a of which are each opened on both the mutually opposed end surfaces 11b of the sleeper body 11 and which continuously pass though the sleeper in the longitudinal direction of the sleeper 11, are formed in the sleeper body 11 which is composed of a synthetic resin material. A filler 24, which allows the entry of a portion 30a, protruding into the respective hollow portions 14 and 15, of the fastener 30 mounted on the sleeper body, is infilled into portions 14b and 15b, corresponding to positions to arrange respective rails R on the sleeper body 11, of the respective hollow portions 14 and 15 among the plurality of hollow portions 14-19, so that the rails R can be each fixed to the sleeper body 11.
