PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat exchanging efficiency of a refrigerating cycle by removing dust attached to a compressor and a condenser. SOLUTION: The compressor and the condenser 33 constituting a refrigerating cycle, and a radiation fan 34 rotatable forward and backward, and radiating heat from the compressor and the condenser 33 by being rotated forward, are disposed in a machine chamber 31 of a refrigerator main body. The radiation fan 34 is rotated backward in a defrosting operation where a defrosting heater is driven while stopping the compressor, thus the dust attached to the compressor and the condenser 33 is removed.
