PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a shear failure area and a stagnation of flow in a dry coal extrusion pump. SOLUTION: This pump 10 for transporting particulate material comprises an inlet 12, a passage 14, an outlet 16, a first load beam 18a, a second load beam 18b, a first scraper seal 20a, a second scraper seal 20b, a first drive assembly 22a, and a second drive assembly 22b. The first load beam 18a is disposed in a first belt assembly 28a. The second load beam 18b is disposed in a second belt assembly 28b. The first scraper seal 20a and the second scraper seal 20b are disposed close to the passage 14 and the outlet 16. The first drive assembly 22a is disposed in the first belt assembly 28a, and drives the first belt assembly.
