A content delivery system comprises a client terminal, a server, a bandwidth control intermediate device provided between the client terminal and the server for relaying the reproduction control protocol of contents data from the client terminal to the server, and a first bandwidth control device provided in a first network for performing a bandwidth control in the first network. According to the reproduction control protocol, the bandwidth control intermediate device requests the first bandwidth control device to perform the bandwidth control in the first network of the communication paths to which the contents data is transferred.
