PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively and firmly perform a necessary reinforcement of a mirror by using a smaller amount of materials at low cost. SOLUTION: A rectangular reinforcement member 2 is used by projecting the reflection face side projected part 2a at the reflection face 1a side of the mirror 1 and a back face side projected part 2b at the back face side 1b by an equal amount, and the middle part 2c of the reinforcement member 2 is bonded to the side face 1c of the mirror 1. In this way, the generation of vibration of a low frequency mode to twist the reflection face of the mirror 1 is prevented by arranging the reinforcement member 2 with a mass balance.
