The system (1) has a receiver (2) e.g. frequency modulation (FM) receiver, supplied with electricity via an energy storage (4) and connected with an antenna system (6) for receiving the meteorological data. A data storage (8) e.g. compact disc (CD), is assigned to the receiver for intermediate storage of the received meteorological data, and the meteorological data are provided to an external computer evaluation system for processing the meteorological data. The receiver, the energy storage, the data storage and the antenna system are arranged in a housing (10) e.g. suit-case.
