FIELD: electrical power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: the method for measurement of resistance of an earth rod in a 220-V mains consists in passing of electric current through the earth rod from the phase conductor of the 220-V mains, disconnection of the line in which the resistance of the earth rod is to be measured, disconnection of the earth rod from the PEN conductor of the power mains, connection of the thyristor fault-to-earth current meter with an ammeter with one conductor to the earth rod, and with the other conductor to one of the phase conductors. After the above operations the line is connected, the readings of the ammeter of the thyristor meter are taken off, and the earth rod resistance is measured. The device for realization of the method has conductors and a thyristor fault-to-earth current meter with an ammeter, whose one meter terminal is connected to one of the phase conductors of the power mains, and the other terminal is connected directly to the earth rod. ^ EFFECT: provided enhanced precision and reliability of measurements with maintenance of the continuity of service of the using equipment, expanded potentialities of use of it in electrical installations of various types, those equipped with the fault-to-earth protection inclusion. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
