<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate checking of difference between before and after revising image data which is displayed on a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises a difference extracting function 3 for extracting difference of component data by comparing two from among a plurality of versions of image data stored in a database 2, and a revision history drawing function 4 for drawing on the display screen 5 based on the extracted difference. The component data has production ID, specific data, and depth information. The difference extracting function 3 compares component data and extracts component data 103 which exists only in one version, component data 106 which exists only in the other version, component data 104 which exists commonly in both versions and having no difference, and component data 105 which exists commonly in both versions and having a difference.
