PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for avoiding payment of a wasteful communication fee, in a terminal device receiving a data list by the number of cases displayable in a display area of a display screen. SOLUTION: In this terminal device, an area setting part 103 sets the display area displayed with the data list in the display screen. A size setting part 104 sets a display size of data per case in the data list. Thereby, a calculation part 105 calculates the number of the pieces of the data displayable in the display area at a time. A reception part 107 receives one of the data lists in accordance with a retrieval condition transmitted to a management server by a transmission part 106, cut within the number of the cases displayable in the display area at a time from the management server, and a display control part 108 displays it in the display area.
