PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a display surface of a display device arranged on electronic equipment also in the manufacturing process of the electronic equipment, and further to protect the display surface until the electronic equipment is substantially used by a user or the like. SOLUTION: A protection sheet SHb not larger than the display surface AR in size is stuck on the display panel (touch surface of a touch panel) AR of the display device and is attached to the rear face side of a front panel 2, so that the protection sheet SHb can be seen through an aperture 2a formed equal to the display surface AR in size in the front panel 2. Then, the display surface AR is protected by the protection sheet SHb until the manufactured electronic equipment 100 is shipped as a product and the user or the like peels the protection sheet SHb off the display surface AR to use the electronic equipment 100. When the user or the like peels the protection sheet SHb off the display surface AR, the display surface AR is exposed by turning up a tug part TG provided with cuts NF1, NF1 at one edge of the protection sheet SHb, further pulling up the turned-up tug part TG, and thereby easily peeling the whole protection sheet SHb.
