PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cap-opening implement which enables the smooth removing of the cap of a beverage container and turning of the cap around without difficulty. SOLUTION: The cap-opening implement is characteristically constituted of: a flattened-plate state cap-opening implement body; a recess into which the cap of the beverage container is inserted, formed at a section located to the head end side of the cap-opening implement body; and a plurality of stoppers which are formed on the internal surface of the recess that engage with the outer periphery of the cap of the beverage container inserted into the recess.
