摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an air bag system made by conventional technology and overcome its drawbacks and defects by providing an air bag system for an automobile which includes a PSIR (a passenger-side air bag) chute having a door end part, a first part, and a second part. SOLUTION: The air bag system for the automobile includes the PSIR chute having the door end part, the first part, and the second part. The door end part of the PSIR chute can include one or a plurality of openings, and the door can be joined to the door end part of the PSIR chute. The door can include an inner edge part and an outer edge part, and the inner edge part provides a spindle which serves as the center of rotation of the outer edge part for a development of the air bag. Then the inner edge part penetrates the opening of the PSIR chute, and can include one or a plurality of projections which are constituted to be extended from the door area of the PSIR chute to the fusing flange area of the PSIR chute.
