The conditioning system has a cooling medium circuit with a compressor (1), a condenser (2) and an expansion chamber (4). An overflow valve is arranged between an outlet of the condenser and an inlet of the expansion chamber. The valve opens automatically dependent on an operating pressure. The valve permits flow of a cooling medium from a high pressure side into a container on a low pressure side such that the cooling medium is withdrawn temporarily from the compressor, the condenser, the expansion chamber and an evaporator (5) to the cooling medium circuit.
