<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, wherein the time required for assembling the apparatus can be shortened and color slippage due to the fluctuation in rotational angular velocity of a photoreceptor is made minimum, while suppressing large size and weight increase of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The writing position of the photoreceptor is made variable in a sub-scanning line direction, based on beam position correction data calculated from the positional deviation data of the angular velocity fluctuation of the photoreceptor as a latent image carrier, to suppress the color slippage due to the fluctuation in angular velocity of the photoreceptor. Thus, it is unnecessary to provide a driving motor for each photoreceptor. As a result, the apparatus can be suppressed from being increased in size and weight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
