<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact-absorbing member which reduces the discomfort of a wearer and facilitates comfortable movements, and to provide clothes with an impact-absorbing member. <P>SOLUTION: This impact-absorbing member 1 which is provided at least at a place for covering a site corresponding to a greater trochanter on the side of a human body includes a foam sheet layer formed by laminating foamed sheets 11, 12, 13, a cloth cover 16 for at least a part of the foamed sheet 12 held on the inner side among the foamed sheets, and a cloth storing cover 15 sewn into a smaller size than the size for covering the whole foamed sheet layer. The size of the foamed sheet 12 is smaller than the size of the foamed sheets 11, 13. The width (a) of a part of the foamed sheets 11, 13 is smaller than the width b of a part of the foamed sheet 12.
