Fuel cell apparatuses for mobile use, in particular for use in a vehicle, are used for producing electrical energy via an electrochemical process. In a known manner, the technological requirements placed on the gas supply for supplying the fuel cell apparatus with fuel and oxidants are very stringent. The invention proposes a recirculation arrangement (5) for an anode-side gas supply in a fuel cell apparatus (1), wherein the recirculation arrangement (5) is designed and/or arranged so as to feed exit gases from an anode-side outlet (6) of the fuel cell apparatus (1) back into an anode-side inlet (7) of the fuel cell apparatus, and wherein the recirculation arrangement (5) has a recirculation machine (10) for producing a mass flow in the recirculation arrangement (5) and an arrangement (P1; P2; P3) for measuring a differential pressure in the recirculation arrangement (5), and also has a control device (12), which is designed to determine a present mass flow in the recirculation arrangement as a function of the measured differential pressure and to use this mass flow as an actual value in open-loop and/or closed-loop control of the delivery power of the recirculation machine (10). |
