PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image recording device capable of recording a radiation image obtained by photographing a desired photographing region regardless of the size of a record carrier. SOLUTION: The radiation image recorder includes: a carrier holding part provided with a holding frame composed of a plurality of freely interval adjustable frame members for holding the record carrier by being adjusted to an interval matched with the dimension of the record carrier to be used this time among the planar record carriers in the plurality of sizes for storing and recording the radiation images and a first moving mechanism for moving the holding frame holding the record carrier in an x-y direction spreading from the record carrier; a second moving mechanism for moving the carrier holding frame in the x-y direction; a first control part for controlling the first moving mechanism so as to arrange the record carrier held by the holding frame at a prescribed position on the carrier holding part; and a second control part for controlling the second moving mechanism so that the record carrier held by the holding frame is irradiated with the radiation emitted from an irradiation device which radiates the radiation toward the carrier holding part.
