<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input information in a pin matrix for displaying a dot diagram. <P>SOLUTION: A dot diagram display body 6 in a casing 7 of a device body 1 includes a pin matrix 3 formed by arranging a plurality of pins in matrix on a display part 2 on the upper surface thereof, and a tactile dot diagram is displayed on the pin matrix 3 by driving such pins. The pin matrix 3 is irradiated with infrared ray from an infrared LED 9, and a video camera 10 receives a reflected infrared ray from a retroreflective marker 12 attached to a main fingertip 11 which touches the pin matrix 3 to detect a position of the main fingertip 11 in the pin matrix 3 or a main fingertip touch position. A pressure sensor 8 is provided at each corner of the dot diagram display body 6, and a pressure center-of-gravity position and a pressing force to the pin matrix 3 are determined from detected pressures thereby. The operating state in the pin matrix 3 is determined from the main fingertip touch position, the pressure center-of-gravity position and the pressing force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
