PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper holder which makes it possible to easily pull out paper from the holder and easily cut the paper with one hand. SOLUTION: In the holder in which an upper surface plate 4 for rotatably holding the roll of paper and covering the upper surface of the roll is vertically openably pivoted, a paper feed operation knob 8 with a paper press contact part 33 projecting under the lower surface of the upper surface plate 4 is mounted slidably to the front and back on the upper surface of the upper surface plate 4 via a slider 15 to a slide oblong hole 13 provided at the upper surface plate 4, and a pressure receiving base 16 with a pressure receiving surface 9 projects on the upper surface near the slide oblong hole 13. A pressurizing operation shaft 5 in which a pressurizing arm 11 is bent and formed so that a pressurizing part 12 at the tip end can make a slid contact with the pressure receiving surface 9 is inserted into the support hole 6a of a support part 6 provided on the back surface of the support plate 1 of the holder so as to be rotated and vertically reciprocated. At the pressurizing arm 11, an inclined bent part 11a curved toward the slide oblong hole 13 is formed so as to obliquely interrupt the slide trajectory of the paper feed operation knob 8.
