摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a permanent-magnet rotary electric machine wherein the distance of the air gap between a rotor and a stator is constant and it is possible to increase the length of a permanent magnet into a sectional shape, so that the flux amount of a magnet can be secured. SOLUTION: First permanent magnets 13a are formed as flat plates, having a rectangular sectional shape and magnetized in the thickness direction. They are embedded in a rotor base 12 in a fixed manner, to form a first permanent magnet group; at, they are disposed with two-magnetic pole pitch in the circumferential direction so that the following is implemented; the direction of magnetization is directed to one side in the circumferential direction; the direction of the long sides of each rectangular sectional shape is matched with the direction of diameter; and the center of each rectangular sectional shape is positioned on an identical circumference; second permanent magnets 13b, each identical with the first permanent magnets 13a, are embedded in the rotor base 12, to form a second permanent magnet group. Here, they are disposed with two-magnetic pole pitch in the circumferential direction so that the center of each rectangular sectional shape is positioned on the identical circumference and is also positioned in the center between first permanent magnets 13a, adjoining in the circumferential direction; and each of them can be rotated about the center of its rectangular sectional shape.
