The system (1) has medical devices (5, 7, 9) e.g. ultrasonic-tomograph, with control inputs (24, 26, 28) for receiving a control signal, and a user interface (3) having a control device (10) operatable by a user. The control device has a control unit (12) and produces the signal for controlling the medical devices based on the movement of the control unit. The interface has a selection device (18) and device interfaces (20, 22) that are designed for connection with the control inputs of the medical devices. The selection device connects the control device with one of the device interfaces.
