The present invention relates to a cooking pot having an integrated and removable strainer or colander member. More specifically, the present invention relates to a cooking system involving an outer cooking pot member and a lockably pivoting and removable colander member allowing the system to cook food and allow for a pivoting straining of the food following use without removing the colander from the supporting pot.
